I was born in Indiana, but moved to Sarasota when I was only two years old. I graduated from Pine View School. After high school I attended the University of Florida where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition. I briefly worked in the medical field as an EMT until I became a science teacher at Venice High School.
In my free time I enjoy exercising, boating, going to the beach, and playing just about any sport you can think of.
I am currently working to complete my Master's degree in Science Education in the next couple of years from the University of South Florida.
